- Negotiate supplier selection for onboard systems
- Ensure compliance with company standards and optimized OPEX
- Evaluate technical solutions and suppliers
- Assess maintenance costs, maintainability, and durability
- Ensure regulatory compliance and operational usability
- Review and comment on drawings for approval
- Collaborate with internal experts and project partners
- Stay updated on technical developments in machinery systems
- Liaise with classification societies and regulatory bodies
- Maintain communication with site office teams
- Clarify technical issues
- Attend factory acceptance tests and seatrials
- Provide technical support until vessel delivery
