Operating and maintaining Hyperscaler/SAP Cloud Infrastructure networks for Sovereign Cloud Germany. Strong Hyperscaler networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SAP Cloud Infrastructure required. Customer-facing network architecture discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Strong experience with Hyperscaler networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or SAP Cloud Infrastructure
  • Experience managing networking for SAP’s solutions
  • Experience implementing security on AWS with VPC, IAM, Security Groups, UTM solutions, NACLS
  • Ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions on AWS, Azure & GCP
  • Implement security requirements across all Cloud platforms
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties and flexibility to work in shifts
  • Commitment to maintaining daily office presence for efficient team collaboration
  • Willingness to subject to governmental security clearance process

Tasks

  • Operate and maintain complex Hyperscaler/SAP Cloud Infrastructure networks
  • Track significant problems and monitor network performance
  • Perform upgrades as required
  • Engage with customers in network architecture discussions
  • Meet customer security requirements
  • Improve network concepts based on customer feedback
  • Respond to and resolve escalated customer requests promptly
  • Participate in deep level incident troubleshooting
  • Prepare and execute complex changes
  • Perform hardware installations and troubleshooting
