Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Operator Level (Level 1) maintenance skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Computer skills
  • Valid US driver's license and passport
  • German Class B driving license within 6 months of hire
  • Previous work experience in an OCONUS environment preferred
  • Ability to obtain a German forklift license
  • Security Clearance-DOD Secret required and eligibility for NATO Secret Indoctrination
  • Ability to use MS Office, Ubuntu, Linux, and Microsoft Windows

Work Experience

Tasks

  • Maintain a safe workplace and prioritize safety
  • Operate GBAD system simulators and related equipment
  • Employ U.S. Aircrew survivability tactics and near-peer GBAD and IADS tactics
  • Operate legacy threat emitters according to training parameters
  • Conduct Operator Level maintenance on electronic equipment
  • Set up, tear down, and ship equipment using manuals and test equipment
  • Travel to temporary duty stations on short notice for missions and training
  • Report equipment deficiencies or outages to Maintenance Control
  • Perform corrosion control and repair on all equipment
  • Complete IMDS inputs for repair actions
  • Assist in transporting parts and equipment to local operations
  • Support GFP inventories and accountability under guidance
  • Submit corrections for equipment and manual improvements
  • Comply with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements
  • Adhere to company and US government regulations
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Report facility deficiencies to the Facility Manager
  • Work in all weather conditions and remove snow and ice
  • Clean areas, vehicles, and equipment thoroughly
  • Complete Dangerous Goods Certifier Course and maintain certification
  • Lift and move items up to 50 lbs as required
  • Use MS Office, Ubuntu, Linux, and Microsoft Windows
  • Perform other assigned duties
