Designing mission management systems for GEO/LEO satellite telecommunication, with space and ground segment architecture integration. Master's degree in engineering and satellite telecommunication systems experience required. Flexible working arrangements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace, or related Engineering
  • Experience on Satellite-based telecommunication systems (GEO, LEO connectivity)
  • Experience in System Design with focus on GEO / LEO Mission Management topics
  • Experience with Space and Ground Segment Architecture and development principles
  • Experience with System and Software Development and IVV process
  • Knowledge of Software Design and Architecture principles
  • Knowledge of modern Systems Engineering techniques and tools (MBSE, DOORS, EA, CAMEO)
  • Knowledge of IT Virtualization and Containerization techniques
  • Knowledge of AGILE Development Lifecycle (Kanban, SCRUM)
  • Knowledge of modern SW V&V DevOps strategies
  • Experience with ECSS-40C process
  • Ability to operate and efficiently communicate in a multi-national team organisation
  • German language skills are advantageous

Tasks

  • Design and develop mission management systems
  • Integrate and validate system components
  • Contribute to defining system and software requirements
  • Perform system design and software architecture tasks
  • Define and analyze customer requirements
  • Ensure compatibility with existing software modules
  • Focus on payload and traffic models in system design
  • Coordinate with subcontractors during system design phase
  • Define system and subsystem level requirements
  • Flow down requirements into software specifications
  • Analyze software non-conformances and discrepancies
  • Evaluate validation test data against specifications
