Medical Science Liaison (MSL)(m/w/x)
Medical stakeholder engagement and scientific presentations for rare disease therapies. 2-3 years medical/clinical science experience, ideally in nephrology, required. Field-based role, autonomous scheduling.
Requirements
- University degree in medical/science or other relevant field, PhD or doctoral degree preferred
- Medical/clinical science function experience (minimum 2-3 years), ideally in nephrology
- Experience with new products, pre-launch, launch activities, planning, strategy execution
- In-depth knowledge of national healthcare systems and practices

Tasks

- Proactively manage medical scientific stakeholders

- Independently initiate planned medical activities
- Deliver scientific presentations
- Discuss clinical data and programs
- Present medical value proposition concepts
- Conduct educational programs
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with KOLs, scientific experts, and stakeholders in Nephrology
- Deliver high-quality medical and scientific communication internally and externally
- Provide field feedback
- Support local organization in developing medical tactics
- Provide input to regional and global plans
- Support and organize scientific advisory boards
- Plan, organize, and lead scientific events
- Support local studies
- Attend relevant local, regional, and global congresses and symposia
- Represent Sobi at congresses and symposia
- Interact with stakeholders and customers at congresses
- Represent scientific interests in internal and external forums
- Interact with KOLs at hospitals, patient associations, and NGOs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with scientific societies and health authorities
- Advise organization and management on medical and legal matters
- Safeguard medical and scientific knowledge for the therapeutic area
- Stay updated on therapeutic trends
- Develop and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with KOLs
