- Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
- Basic Laboratory molecular pathology experience
- Ability to speak and write in German or willingness to learn
- Working knowledge of laboratory accreditation regulations
- Basic laboratory automation skills
- High volume laboratory experience
- Previous experience working with LIMS
Tasks
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses per standard operating procedures
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Prepare reagents for laboratory testing
- Conduct and document laboratory quality control procedures
- Identify and report issues affecting test performance
- Review analytical results
- Assist in training new laboratory personnel
- Participate in testing and validation of new laboratory equipment
- Maintain data protection and patient privacy regulations
- Support inventory management of laboratory supplies
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Address issues with non-laboratory personnel with guidance
- Assist in reviewing and editing standard operating procedures
- Help prepare for laboratory inspections
- Report quality or safety issues to management
- Participate in Quality Assurance activities
- Foster a positive work environment
- Integrate feedback professionally
- Prioritize quality and results
- Demonstrate teamwork skills
- Uphold company values of accountability and integrity
- Comply with Quality Management System policies
