Requirements
- Technical degree or vocational training in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, or related field
- Hands-on experience assembling electromechanical systems
- Experience with motors, gearboxes, actuators, and sensors
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Electronics debugging skills (multimeter, oscilloscope preferred)
- Comfortable working with prototypes and iterative hardware development
- 1+ years' experience with robotic arms, grippers, or humanoid platforms
- Familiarity with embedded servo systems (e.g., Dynamixel, ODrive, or similar)
- Basic understanding of embedded systems or ROS2-based robots
- Experience with calibration and validation of force/torque sensors
Tasks
- Assemble electromechanical subsystems
- Integrate actuators, sensors, and wiring
- Test mechanical components
- Support 3D printing processes
- Solder and assemble mechatronic devices
- Perform cable management
- Calibrate force/torque sensors
- Calibrate encoders and limit switches
- Troubleshoot electromechanical issues
- Support firmware and software debugging
- Develop build procedures
- Set up test environments
- Scale assembly workflows
- Bring up new robot modules
