- •University Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field
- •Expertise in design of optomechanical systems
- •Passion for finding technical solutions for high-precision applications
- •Hands-on mentality and willingness to build and test designs
- •Knowledge of manufacturing processes and serial production
- •Solid understanding of design calculations and GD&T
- •Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software and PLM systems, ideally Siemens Teamcenter/NX
- •Results-oriented, reliable, and pro-active individual
- •Team player with strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- •Good communication skills in written and spoken English
- •Enjoyment of working in an innovative, dynamic, and team-oriented environment

Tasks
- •Develop and design assemblies for optical communication terminals
- •Work independently with a high level of responsibility
- •Create and maintain assembly models throughout their life cycle
- •Perform tolerancing and verification of systems
- •Derive system and subsystem requirements
- •Define interfaces and envelopes
- •Prepare technical documentation, including manufacturing documents
- •Conduct simple strength and modal analysis for initial part dimensioning
- •Document results and present them to the project team and in reviews
