Tasks
- Conduct literature research on renal membrane transporters and extracellular vesicles
- Establish and cultivate RPTEC/TERT1 cells in 2D and 3D cell culture models
- Investigate strategies to increase OAT1/3 expression in cells
- Analyze cell status using microscopic methods and determine cell viability
- Evaluate OAT1/3 expression and localization with immunofluorescence microscopy and Western blot
- Explore strategies influencing EV release
- Isolate EVs from cell culture supernatants
- Characterize EVs by size, concentration, and composition
- Perform functional assays to analyze transporter-dependent transport processes
- Evaluate and interpret research results
