Requirements

  • •Enrollment in a master's program in statistics, data science, or a related field
  • •Strong interest in biological research questions
  • •Good skills in common programming languages such as R
  • •Ability to communicate in English and ideally also in German, both written and spoken

Currently in higher education

Tasks

  • •Join the In silico Toxicology department as a master's student
  • •Develop and apply clustering approaches for high-dimensional mixed-type data
  • •Identify latent structures and patterns in complex data sets
  • •Characterize heterogeneous groups of observations using data-driven methods
  • •Apply methodologically adapted multivariate approaches for clustering
  • •Contribute to statistical evaluation of data analyses within the VICT3R project
  • •Support further methodological development of data analysis techniques
