Requirements
- •Master’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or comparable
- •Previous experience with PCB design and testing
- •Experience with embedded hardware design
- •Experience with DC/DC converters
- •Experience with MCAD software and design of simple mechanical parts
- •Hands-on mentality and can-do attitude
- •Fluency in spoken and written English
- •Experience in Altium Designer
- •Previous unit design experience
- •Experience in testing integrated electrical systems
Education
Currently in higher education
Tasks
- •Define requirements for the Digital Camera
- •Conceptualize the Digital Camera Unit Hardware Design
- •Design the schematic and layout in Altium Designer
- •Conduct functional testing of the PCBA(s)
- •Build the first integrated prototypes
- •Perform environmental testing on the prototypes
- •Collaborate closely with the Software Department throughout the thesis
