Requirements
- Enrolled Master student in aerospace or mechanical engineering
- Good understanding of structural dynamics
- First experience in structural analyses with FEM
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
- Experience with Nastran
- Experience with Hyperworks (Hypermesh, Hyperview)
- Experience with Matlab
- Ability to work independently
- Teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of tool development
- Experience in tool development
- Fluent English
- German language skills
- Good communication skills
- Awareness of compliance risks
- Commitment to act with integrity
Tasks
- Create FE models of satellite structures, instruments, and components
- Ensure FE models comply with department standards and good practices
- Conduct static and dynamic structural analyses
- Perform linear and nonlinear structural assessments
- Execute structural assessments using hand calculations
- Develop tools in Excel or Matlab for analysis automation
- Understand and prepare technical documentation in English or German

- Currently in higher education
