Requirements

  • Master’s studies in chemistry, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, energy and process engineering, environmental engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in laboratory and pilot plant operations
  • Ideally basic knowledge of CO2 electrolysis and/or high-pressure systems
  • Ability to work independently
  • Openness and interest in new, innovative technologies

Tasks

  • Analyze degradation of existing systems
  • Identify optimization potential for further development
  • Coat and characterize membrane electrode assemblies
  • Modify the design of electrochemical cells
  • Execute measurement series on the high-pressure electrolysis test bench
  • Evaluate measurement series from the high-pressure electrolysis test bench
  • Present results at internal meetings and scientific seminars
