Requirements

  • Independent, organized, and structured work approach
  • Prior laboratory and laser experience is beneficial, but not required

Tasks

  • Conceptualize and design microfluidic structures
  • Create virtual channels in organ-on-chip systems
  • Plan and conduct experiments for mold production
  • Use UKP laser structuring for mold fabrication
  • Fabricate microfluidic chips from laser-processed molds
  • Characterize hydrophobic and hydrophilic regions
  • Document and discuss experimental results
