- Identify and resolve risks impacting compliance program delivery
- Build strong relationships with compliance and business colleagues
- Execute complex tasks and analyses to support department goals
- Provide regulatory advice for the Markets product suite and marketing
- Assess the impact of new regulations on business operations
- Collaborate with business units to implement regulatory changes
- Engage in regulatory advocacy and industry discussions
- Analyze and interpret policies and regulations for specific units
- Challenge the business regarding regulatory adherence and corrective actions
- Escalate potential or actual breaches of regulatory requirements
- Assist in developing and implementing remedial actions
- Draft and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and training
- Cooperate with global markets, treasury, and credit finance teams
- Review new business initiatives and products for regulatory compliance
- Evaluate requests for proposal and marketing materials
- Prepare the business for regulatory and third-party examinations
- Lead direct interactions with regulators
