Requirements

  • Plating experience advantageous but not required
  • Technical background in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or related field

  • Practical experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process stabilization

Tasks

  • Operate and support new plating lines
  • Set up, load, unload, monitor, and maintain plating lines
  • Execute production trials and test runs
  • Collect and document data during trials and test runs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize processes
  • Optimize chemistry and tooling during development
  • Monitor and maintain stable process parameters
  • Maintain equipment conditions (solution levels, temperatures, agitation, anodes, contacts, current flow)
  • Support chemical additions and bath adjustments
  • Perform routine maintenance activities
  • Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis
  • Support Design of Experiments (DOE) and qualification runs
  • Assist with industrialization up to pre-series production
  • Help commission and modify equipment
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturing sites
  • Work with external partners in an international environment
  • Support global initiatives in plating, automation, and assembly processes
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to process standards
  • Comply with safety and environmental regulations
