Requirements

  • Studies in mechanical engineering, production engineering, information technology in mechanical engineering, or physical engineering
  • Strong team player and ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Independence, determination, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing technology, design engineering, and automation technology
  • Experience with CAD/CAM and CNC machine tools
  • Completed vocational training or experience in metal technology, metal cutting, precision engineering, or toolmaking
  • Confident use of MS Office programs
  • Confident written and spoken German and English skills

Tasks

  • Support mechanical processing with CNC machine tools
  • Gain experience in industry-related research
  • Work on current research and development projects
  • Examine the state of the art and market situation
  • Identify potential suppliers
  • Dimension and design required system components
  • Engage in varied work from manufacturing to design
  • Conduct FE simulation and programming tasks
  • Plan, set up, and evaluate test series
  • Collaborate on research and development projects
  • Research relevant topics and process results
