Requirements
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
- Professional certification in international accounting standards or training
- Ability to navigate US-GAAP and local statutory accounting frameworks
- Demonstrated learning agility and adaptability
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize responsibilities
- Independent decision maker with influencing skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, SAP S/4HANA, and SAC
- English fluency; strong German skills or willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Tasks
- Provide finance support to the business
- Act as a business partner to drive continuous improvement and efficiency
- Lead the annual standard costing process for produced goods and input materials
- Oversee month-end and year-end processes for production orders and stock valuation
- Conduct order settlement, variance analysis, and stock devaluation
- Support business planning and forecasting activities for expense planning
- Develop roadmaps to achieve financial plans and forecasts
- Analyze and report results to provide financial insights to stakeholders
- Ensure consistent financial data reporting and processes through financial control and auditing
- Establish local finance processes aligned with local and global functions
- Assist in the transition from construction to operational activities
- Collaborate with the business to meet financial standards
- Build strong relationships with business teams for effective support
- Participate in internal and external audit facilitation
- Support local and global finance policies, goals, and objectives
- Maintain partnerships with Lilly’s Global Finance organization and other sites
- Ensure compliance with Lilly financial policies and regulatory commitments
- Develop AI-driven solutions for local financial processes
