Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Experience with M&A processes, ideally in transaction consulting, investment banking, or corporate M&A
- Background in financial modelling and valuation, CVA or CFA preferred
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills
- Biopharma industry or pharmaceutical asset valuation experience as a plus
- Strategic mindset and hands-on execution capability
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and ideally Power BI, Power Pivot, and Power Query
- Proficiency in oral and written English
Tasks
- Manage cross-functional buy-side and sell-side transactions
- Maintain financial models for deal evaluation and scenario analysis
- Coordinate due diligence and manage virtual data rooms
- Prepare decision-making materials for the Management and Supervisory Boards
- Liaise with external advisors on contracting and negotiations
- Support integration and separation planning with functional teams
- Enhance valuation models for strategic planning and investments
- Derive the quarterly Group WACC with the Treasury team
- Assess strategic initiatives through scenario analysis and valuations
- Collaborate with FP&A to ensure consistent valuation inputs
- Support IFRS goodwill impairment tests and German GAAP valuations
- Coordinate purchase price allocations with external advisors
- Align valuation models with the five-year financial plan
- Prepare valuation materials for financial audits and reporting
- Discuss financial reporting valuations with external auditors
