Tasks
- Supervise Logistics Department (Import/Export and Admin)
- Assign and direct work activities
- Manage efficient order entry and production planning
- Ensure quality, resources, costs, timelines, and regulatory compliance
- Handle escalation processes for departmental issues
- Communicate with internal departments, vendors, carriers, and customers
- Support logistics-related issues for internal and external customers
- Train, coach, and develop employees
- Hire and set performance goals
- Support and coordinate internal and external audit requests and CAPAs
- Provide data for internal and external billing processes
- Ensure compliance with company and department policies
- Develop and evaluate department performance indicators
- Support logistics management with global performance indicators
- Monitor and improve logistical processes
- Create and maintain standard work instructions and procedures
- Lead and coordinate department-related projects
- Support global logistics projects
- Monitor and coordinate global depot processes
- Ensure efficient warehousing and distribution
- Maintain data transparency and traceability
- Support operational tasks within Logistics
- Report on Order Entry and Production Planning status
- Advise on corrective measures for deviations
- Report potential risks and operational failures
- Stay informed about order entry and production planning
- Test product and service quality
- Decide on measures for quality issues
