Requirements
- •Bachelor’s degree in Trade Compliance or related field
- •Export certificate preferred
- •5+ years of leadership experience in Import / Export operations
- •Global/multinational mindset and awareness
- •Expertise in customs compliance, export/import activities, documentation, denied party screening, export sanctions management, ECN classification
- •Experience with US and EU export controls and sanctions
- •Experience working with a US based organization
- •Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource or similar GTM software
- •Expertise with automotive parts and consumer electronics commodities is a plus
- •Multi-cultural awareness and ability to adjust communication
- •Understanding of Dual Use product classification
- •Experience with working with Middle East customers
- •Willingness to travel up to 10% domestic and international

- •Complete required export and statistical reporting
- •Ensure compliance with customs processes and authorizations
- •Verify customs valuation, classification, and country of origin
- •Manage the denied party screening (DPS) process
- •Oversee global export sanction screening and review
- •Handle the ECN classification process
- •Determine the need for export licenses
- •Proactively identify and address regulatory issues
- •Align local risk management frameworks with global standards
- •Organize monitoring and auditing of export processes
- •Manage end user certificates (EUC) for customers and suppliers
- •Advise on compliance requirements and related controls
- •Create, assess, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- •Integrate best practices based on global cooperation
- •Build partnerships with customs brokerage firms and government agencies
