Description

In this maternity cover role, you will lead the biomechanics team to ensure products meet the highest ergonomic standards through scientific research and hands-on testing with families.

Requirements

• •Technical or scientific education in biomechanics, ergonomics, biomedicine, or comparable field
• •Interest in ergonomic design and user-centered development
• •Practical experience in team leadership and operations management
• •Practical experience working with children and developmental needs
• •Responsibility in safety-relevant tasks and regulatory adherence
• •Proficiency in MS Office tools
• •Fluency in German and English
• •Independent, structured working style, analytical thinking, and reliability
• •Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• •Hands-on, proactive, and solution-driven mindset

Tasks

• •Lead the biomechanics team within R&D
• •Develop ergonomic and biomechanical requirement profiles
• •Support safe design for all product categories
• •Define reproducible test methods for human factors
• •Manage specialized laboratory equipment
• •Evaluate product concepts in early development stages
• •Ensure standards for comfort and user well-being
• •Review technical drawings for ergonomic compliance
• •Conduct hands-on product testing with families
• •Gather structured feedback for iterative design improvements
• •Recruit and maintain relationships with test families
• •Identify emerging trends in ergonomics and safety
• •Analyze scientific studies to inform product development
• •Lead research projects and academic collaborations
• •Contribute to scientific publications
