Manager or Associate Principal, EMEA Life Science Strategy Supply & Operations Consulting(m/w/x)

In this role, you will lead consulting projects focused on supply chain and operations for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analyzing performance, optimizing processes, and collaborating with client teams to implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• •7+ years of experience in life science or healthcare strategy consulting
• •9+ years of experience in life science or healthcare strategy consulting
• •Bachelor’s and master’s degree or equivalent
• •Experience working in sizable/multi-disciplined teams
• •Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
• •Ability to adapt and learn quickly
• •Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• •Willingness and ability to travel and work at client’s site

Tasks

• •Manage end-to-end delivery of consulting projects in supply chain and operations
• •Develop work plans and manage timelines and resources
• •Ensure high-quality outputs and coordinate with client teams
• •Build strong relationships with client stakeholders
• •Understand client operational pain points and objectives
• •Translate client needs into project scopes and solutions
• •Present findings and status updates to client sponsors
• •Conduct detailed analyses of clients' supply chain performance
• •Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements
• •Analyze the end-to-end value chain for inefficiencies
• •Support manufacturing and distribution strategy engagements
• •Evaluate impacts of network redesign scenarios
• •Assist clients in localizing production or outsourcing
• •Perform supplier assessments and cost-benefit analyses
• •Map out clients' distribution networks and logistics flows
• •Identify opportunities to reduce lead times and logistics costs
• •Work on specialized projects for cell and gene therapies
• •Develop scalable processes for high-value biologics
• •Lead workstreams to establish or refine S&OP processes
• •Define forecasting methodologies and set up S&OP meetings
• •Train client teams on scenario planning and inventory optimization
• •Execute lean and Six Sigma initiatives in operations
• •Run Kaizen workshops to streamline manufacturing processes
• •Guide and mentor junior consultants and analysts
• •Delegate tasks effectively and ensure rigorous analytical work
• •Collaborate with senior leaders to align project work with client strategy
• •Incorporate proprietary data and tools into solutions
