Management Trainee - Automation Business Development(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or comparable field
• Ideally first practical experience in Business Development, Consulting, or commercial/technical role
• Confident communication in English and German
• Comfort working with international stakeholders
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset
• High motivation for early responsibility
• Proactive driving of topics in dynamic environments
• Previous international experience
• Enthusiasm for longer international assignments
• Team player with strong communication skills
• High level of initiative and ambition

Tasks

• Develop and scale standardized automated intralogistics solutions
• Support the growth of a new strategic business area
• Execute the Automation business plan in alignment with Strategy
• Expand the automation portfolios for STILL and Linde Material Handling
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design end-to-end turnkey solutions
• Deliver customer solutions across the entire product lifecycle
• Develop integrated solutions for complex projects with Dematic
• Leverage synergies across the KION Group
• Prepare business cases, calculations, and customer proposals
• Participate in customer presentations and negotiations
• Manage international customer projects and on-site implementation
• Cooperate with regional EMEA teams on solution design
• Realize and execute sold on-site projects
• Design customer solutions using automated intralogistics components
