- •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- •2+ years experience in working with space hardware
- •Experience with milling and CNC machining
- •Experienced with mechanical design and GD&T
- •Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork
- •Fluent in English
- •Familiarity with new spatial environment (2+ years)
- •Knowledge of structural analysis tools (FEM)
- •Experienced with mechanisms for high-precision structures

Tasks
- •Support development activities for in-space manufacturing technology
- •Design mechanical breadboards and ground support equipment (GSEs)
- •Produce engineering drawings for mechanical parts
- •Coordinate production of mechanical parts with external suppliers
- •Manufacture mechanical parts in-house using CNC milling and 3D printing
- •Assemble prototypes and flight hardware
- •Perform testing activities from component to system level
- •Participate in qualification campaigns and acceptance testing of flight hardware
- •Support customers during final integration of payloads
- •Produce technical documentation and participate in reviews with external stakeholders
