Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience
- Several years of warehouse/logistics experience with team leadership
- Proven ability to manage warehouse teams and drive performance
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, FIFO
- Experience in automated warehouses with barcode scanning
- Experience applying Lean principles and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and improvement implementation
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel
- Experience using WMS and/or TMS
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent German and English
Tasks
- Lead and align logistics team to achieve financial goals
- Achieve objectives for deliveries, warehousing, and transportation
- Manage warehouse team for safe operations and 5S
- Plan and execute shift schedules, onboarding, and training
- Conduct performance management for warehouse staff
- Coordinate with transportation partners for capacity and performance
- Build strong relationships with transportation suppliers
- Ensure smooth outbound flow and issue resolution
- Control daily operations through KPI management
- Identify and address performance gaps
- Implement corrective actions for operational issues
- Manage warehouse productivity and labor planning
- Set and track performance targets
- Standardize work processes to improve efficiency
- Ensure service levels and customer commitments
- Lead performance reviews and continuous improvement
- Control logistics and warehousing costs
- Partner with Finance on cost forecasting and variance analysis
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations
- Process import/export paperwork efficiently
- Monitor and enforce transportation policies
- Support TMS/WMS deployment and maintenance
- Promote supply chain optimization
