Requirements
- •Bachelor or Master student in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- •Good programming skills in Python
- •Basic knowledge about Life Cycle Assessment and Eco-Design or strong motivation to learn quickly
- •First-hand experience or strong academic exposure to Life Cycle Assessment and sustainability tools or methodologies
- •Knowledge of material science, space systems engineering, or product design
- •Knowledge of AI / machine learning and excitement to apply it to support script development and data collection for LCAs
- •Ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams
- •Analytical mindset and curiosity to explore complex sustainability challenges
- •Advanced skills in programming with Python, ideally including structuring scripts into reusable modules
- •Structured, detail-oriented, and rigorous in documentation and reporting
- •Ideally familiar with at least one LCA software tool and/or LCA databases
- •Positive and solution-oriented mindset aligned with core values of Commitment, Innovation, Trust, Quality, and Teamwork

- •Program implementation scripts in Python for robustness and reusability
- •Adapt scripts and data pipelines to current LCA standards
- •Ensure results are traceable, reproducible, and audit-ready
- •Perform Life Cycle Assessments of the Nyx Earth space capsule
- •Identify opportunities to minimize environmental impact
- •Quantify environmental impacts of design changes
- •Assess trade-offs by comparing scenarios and design options
- •Contribute to the development of internal LCA methodologies
- •Ensure alignment with current norms and standards
- •Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- •Translate results into actionable recommendations
- •Support internal AI development for LCA scripts
