Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Information Science or related field
- Professional experience with information management systems and institutional repositories
- Hands-on experience applying cataloguing standards and metadata formats
- Documented experience managing scientific documents in international, academic, or research organizations
- Beneficial experience with large-scale migrations of records to new repositories and metadata schemas
- Library and documentation management

Tasks

- Curate scientific outputs in CERN repositories
- Ensure quality, completeness, and compliance of scientific outputs
- Support researchers with institutional repository submissions
- Collaborate with IT on repository development
- Collaborate with IT on repository migration
- Oversee issue tracking for repository and library services
- Oversee workflow efficiency for repository and library services
- Contribute to innovation projects, including AI-assisted curation
- Contribute to service improvement projects
- Develop documentation, procedures, and performance indicators
- Train and supervise apprentices, interns, and colleagues
- Collaborate with external partners on cataloguing practices
- Collaborate with external partners on library practices
- Contribute to user services of the Archives & Library
- Contribute to physical collection management
- Contribute to communication activities
- Contribute to outreach activities
- Contribute to other operational needs
