Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in European jurisdiction
- 5–10 years legal experience in technology, SaaS, commercial law, or in-house/private practice
- Strong experience drafting/negotiating commercial agreements (SaaS, technology, data protection, partner/reseller)
- Solid working knowledge of GDPR and EMEA privacy requirements
- Experience advising business teams on commercial, regulatory, risk matters in multinational environment
- Ability to provide clear, practical, business-oriented legal advice to non-legal stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management skills, building trust across teams
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth, global organization
- Strong judgment, attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities
- Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus
- Legally authorized to work in Germany
Tasks
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology and SaaS agreements
- Provide legal guidance to sales, customer success, and partnerships
- Identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks
- Support contract escalations and recommend risk positions
- Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR
- Partner with internal stakeholders on data processing and privacy
- Guide on legal and regulatory topics affecting SaaS and cloud services
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to Foxit’s business
- Support product and engineering teams on legal considerations
- Translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance
- Improve legal processes through template and playbook development
- Implement legal policies and compliance practices
- Deliver training on contracts, privacy, and compliance
- Coordinate with external counsel on jurisdiction-specific matters
