- Experience in direct technical interaction with customers
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environments
- Validation mindset, familiarity with regulated/quality-sensitive application areas
- Six Sigma knowledge; Green Belt certification advantageous
- German language skills preferred but not required
- Familiarity with SAP and standard Microsoft Office tools
Tasks
- Lead planning, execution, and management of product development projects
- Focus on medical liquid silicone rubber and soft silicone adhesives
- Drive New Product and Process Development Initiatives
- Develop innovative technical solutions for customer-specific programs
- Collaborate with customers, validation partners, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure successful project execution from concept to commercialization
- Evaluate complex challenges and prioritize activities based on business impact
- Identify opportunities for platform expansion and process improvements
- Engage in EHS management and compliance with EHS procedures
- Plan, execute, and manage multiple strategic and commercial projects
- Drive sustainable technology developments for healthcare applications
- Lead technology workstream of NPDI projects
- Develop technical solutions for near-term and future growth
- Collaborate with customers and validation partners to identify opportunities
- Understand customer needs, application requirements, and market trends
- Formulate, characterize, test, and scale up silicone-based materials
- Manage complex development work with conflicting requirements
- Apply statistical thinking and design-of-experiments approaches
- Implement robust quality-related methods and test approaches
- Ensure appropriate technical reporting and documentation
- Contribute to intellectual property generation
- Work with Marketing, Sales, QA/QC, and Manufacturing
- Lead and develop lab technicians
- Plan and organize laboratory activities
- Communicate program results and technical risks
- Represent the company at technical meetings and events
