Description

In this role, you will lead the development of electrically conductive coatings, combining hands-on lab work with technical analysis and collaboration with teams to create innovative adhesive solutions for the electronics sector.

Requirements

• •University degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or related scientific discipline
• •Several years of proven experience in electrically conductive coatings, including hands-on formulation work
• •Deep process knowledge of pad printing, screen printing, and jetting for conductive coating systems
• •Experience with ionic liquids and their interaction with polymeric or composite substrates
• •Strong expertise in surface characterization (AFM, CLSM, SEM) and electrochemical techniques (EIS)
• •Track record of leading external technical collaborations and translating technical results into product value
• •Strategic, analytical, and independent working style with clear solution orientation
• •Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for international, interdisciplinary teamwork
• •Fluency in English; German is a plus

Tasks

• •Act as the primary technical expert for EC coatings
• •Apply and evaluate electrically conductive coatings on insulating substrates
• •Conduct coating trials and application testing in the lab
• •Optimize application processes for conductive systems
• •Analyze coating performance using advanced characterization methods
• •Document results and prepare technical reports
• •Collaborate with production, marketing, and R&D for implementation
