- 7+ years as Solutions Architect, solutions engineering, or architecting software product
- 5+ years with web development languages (Javascript, Node.js, React), REST APIs, or general-purpose programming language like Python
- Strong knowledge in marketing automation, CDP, e-commerce, mobile apps, analytics, advertising tech, data science; ability to learn new domains
- Ability to track and learn from evolving technical landscape
- Ability to integrate modern, optimized solutions for client value
- Communicative, open, persuasive, honest
- Ability to bring value to prospects at all levels
- Ability to persuade technical stakeholders
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Salesperson driven by customer results
- Ability to uncover problems and articulate value
- Ability to close technical deals with account managers
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC and other structured sales methodologies
- AI fluency including responsible AI use
Tasks
- Facilitate deep, long-term relationships with prospects, clients, and partners
- Create technical champions and envision Klaviyo integration into technology stacks
- Adopt a consultant-first mindset to develop scalable solutions
- Write integration specifications for non-standard e-commerce platforms
- Develop new integrations for platforms like Demandware
- Create Klaviyo's first public Chrome extension for front-end API calls
- Lead technical pre-sales campaigns for mid-market and enterprise clients
- Conduct technical discovery of clients' current architectures and challenges
- Organize technical workshops with developers and business teams
- Develop and execute value demonstration plans
- Become an expert in Klaviyo's data pipelines and integration codebase
- Support product alignment by representing client needs to Developer Experience and Product teams
- Train sales team members and prospects/clients on Klaviyo's technical aspects
