You will lead the architectural design and development of industry-leading MES products, collaborating with global teams to integrate complex automation systems within an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent knowledge
  • Minimum 8 years of software development and technical leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of Java technology, Jakarta EE, and Spring
  • Experience with object-oriented analysis and design patterns
  • Willingness to immerse into domain-specific knowledge
  • Knowledge of domain-driven design
  • Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and Jakarta EE design
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with API development
  • Database design and programming skills
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems and DevSecOps principles
  • Domain knowledge in industrial automation and MES applications
  • Experience with globally distributed teams
  • Proficiency in English and German

Tasks

  • Design and implement new MES software features
  • Lead architectural design and product requirements development
  • Code and test across the software development lifecycle
  • Integrate products with machine automation and ERP software
  • Develop unit and functional tests and testware
  • Report, analyze, debug, and correct software anomalies
  • Perform design and code reviews for quality assurance
  • Promote Agile practices within a SAFe framework
  • Coordinate activities and mentor other team members
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams
