Labeling Artwork Controller - Consultant(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Packaging
• 10+ years experience in labeling and packaging
• Knowledge of global regulatory labeling requirements
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Experience with PLM and artwork systems
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with pre-press and print processes
• Skill in proofreading and validation tools
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• PMP certification or formal training (plus)

Tasks

• Manage end-to-end artwork development from brief to release
• Coordinate with regulatory, marketing, and supply chain teams
• Validate project briefs for accuracy and completeness
• Oversee timelines and resource planning for multiple projects
• Review labeling content for regulatory and corporate compliance
• Drive process improvements for artwork approval workflows
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions
• Maintain issue logs and attend escalation meetings
• Identify inefficiencies and escalate issues to hub leads
• Participate in content lock and stakeholder alignment meetings
• Resolve and escalate Veraciti system-related issues
• Implement technology solutions for labeling processes
• Create and maintain system training documentation
• Supervise artwork controllers and support during peak periods
• Onboard new hires on artwork management systems
• Provide guidance to vendors and process leads
• Track action items from cross-functional meetings
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders
• Attend regional kick-off and technical printer meetings
• Contribute insights for KPI dashboards and analytics
• Assess resource requirements and provide job quotations
• Conduct design-to-press color management assessments
• Monitor regional project timelines and costs
• Address quality issues and support system improvements
• Manage ad-hoc artwork requests and system communications
