Requirements

  • •Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, informatics, telecommunications, or related field
  • •Experience with LLMs and Vision–Language–Action (VLA) models, including training, fine-tuning, and evaluation
  • •Ability to deploy models in production with focus on latency, throughput, and cost optimization
  • •Solid grounding in classical robotics, including kinematics, control, state estimation, motion planning
  • •Background or interest in wireless communications, radar signal processing, or 3GPP standards
  • •Strong coding skills in programming languages (Python, Java, C/C++, MATLAB, C#, bash, scripting)
  • •In-depth experience managing and troubleshooting Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Servers
  • •Solid understanding of Git, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows
  • •Experience with management of local area networks (LAN), servers, and other IT infrastructure
  • •Good understanding of AI, machine learning, and familiarity with related tools for training and inference
  • •Business proficiency in written and spoken English
  • •Upper-Intermediate level in German (B2 or above)

Tasks

  • •Implement proofs of concept using 6G prototypes for demonstrations
  • •Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications in Python, C++, Matlab, and C#
  • •Test and evaluate novel AI models for robot perception and decision-making
  • •Implement ROS2-based robot control and perception functions
  • •Develop use cases and conduct lab and field trials with partners
  • •Manage and improve Windows and Linux IT systems for the 6G lab
  • •Develop graphical user interfaces and imaging solutions for experiments
  • •Collaborate with internal teams and external partners from industry and academia
  • •Support mechanical assembly and integration of robotic platforms
