Requirements

  • Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Systems/Software, or Business/International Relations with strong technical knowledge
  • MBA considered an advantage
  • At least 10 years in Sales, Business Development, or Capture roles within defense and/or space sectors
  • 5+ years engaging with institutional customers
  • Experience in German market highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of space and satellite infrastructure
  • Understanding of payload, ground segment, satellite communications, secure communications, mission systems, and satellite observation technologies
  • Familiarity with defense procurement processes
  • Familiarity with tendering, capture strategies, contracting, and basic export control compliance
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into tailored solution concepts
  • Effective collaboration with internal engineering and product teams
  • Strong skills in deal structuring
  • Strong skills in pricing strategy
  • Strong skills in risk and opportunity assessment
  • Strong skills in forecasting and managing sales pipeline

  • Lead sales, marketing, and business development efforts
