(Junior) Risk Controller – Integrated Risk Controlling(m/w/x)

Description

You will play a vital role in managing the bank's risk profile by preparing detailed analyses, supporting ICAAP processes, and ensuring new products meet rigorous safety standards.

Requirements

• •Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar
• •Exposure to banking, risk, or data analytics
• •Analytical thinking and interest in quantitative methods
• •Interest or experience in PowerBI or SQL
• •Curiosity about governance and risk controlling
• •Interest in operational or non-financial risk
• •Strong communication and stakeholder explanation skills
• •International experience (advantageous)
• •Planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• •Business proficiency in German and English

Tasks

• •Prepare regular risk reports and analyses for internal stakeholders
• •Contribute to the bank’s ICAAP-related processes
• •Measure and analyze the bank’s risk profile
• •Maintain elements of the risk inventory
• •Collect inputs and track measures for non-financial risk activities
• •Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks
• •Coordinate documentation for the New Product Approval Process
• •Assist with risk assessments for new offerings
• •Improve transparency and documentation quality to promote risk culture
• •Manage stakeholder communication regarding risk topics
• •Draft risk strategy and framework documents
• •Consolidate feedback on business goals and regulatory expectations
• •Present risk reports to the Management Board and Risk Committee
• •Create training materials on regulatory requirements and best practices
