Tasks
- Onboard new employees
- Create accounts for new users in Microsoft365, Windows AD, and Linux
- Set up hardware for new employees, including laptops, workstations, and phones
- Prepare additional peripherals like keyboards, headsets, and monitors
- Set up workspaces for new employees
- Offboard employees
- Close or disable accounts in Microsoft365, Windows AD, and Linux
- Track and collect old equipment, returning it to IT storage
- Recycle laptops, phones, and other peripherals for new users
- Manage and track end-user devices in IT storage
- Notify supervisor when to order new equipment
- Manage storage based on IT demands and project needs
- Track assets in TopDesk ITSM asset manager
- Maintain IT inventory for approximately 1000 assets
- Manage company phones using Microsoft InTune
- Prepare new phones, including protective screens and cases
- Enroll phones in management system
- Prepare phone systems for new users
- Troubleshoot user issues with phones
- Deploy new company-approved apps to phones using Microsoft InTune
- Create and manage Atlassian accounts, including Jira and Confluence
- Create and manage VPN certificates
- Manage various accounts, including GitLab, Unity, and SolidWorks
- Install and prepare Windows laptops and workstations
- Enroll devices in Windows Active Directory
- Create and manage devices in Windows Active Directory
- Install software based on requirements
- Troubleshoot common Windows issues
- Install and prepare Linux (Ubuntu22.04/Ubuntu24.04) laptops and workstations
- Connect devices to Puppet management and automation system using Foreman
- Manage devices in Foreman
- Define and deploy software using Foreman and Puppet
- Troubleshoot basic Linux issues
- Provide IT support using TopDesk ticketing system
- Work on 1st and 2nd Level IT support tickets
- Collaborate closely with 3rd Level Support
- Provide support in multiple Munich locations
- Occasionally provide support at production site in Kaufbeuren
