Requirements

  • Commercial university degree in accounting, financial reporting, or financial management, or comparable qualification as tax consultant, specialist, or accountant; alternatively, accountant or tax clerk training with corresponding experience
  • Organizational skills for coordinating and consolidating stakeholder input
  • Flexibility and proactivity
  • Ability to build partnership and trust with stakeholders
  • Basic Excel and Power BI skills
  • Basic accounting and ERP software SAP (FICO, AA), tax compliance & reporting tools knowledge
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent German and Professional English

Tasks

  • Process daily IFRS transactions
  • Handle bank accounting
  • Commission and scrap assets
  • Post manual journal entries
  • Assist with statutory accounting transactions
  • Support tax compliance and reporting
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly closing entries
  • Prepare closing documentation
  • Perform trade payable and receivable reconciliations
  • Conduct bank reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing yearly statutory financial statements
  • Support corporate tax return preparation
  • Participate in tax return and payment submissions
  • Handle VAT declarations
  • Monitor deferred taxes calculations
  • Track temporary differences
  • Process French reporting packages monthly
  • Collaborate with central and local teams
  • Participate in business meetings
  • Provide accounting and tax support
  • Contribute to continuous improvement
  • Ensure quality checks and reviews
  • Participate in policy and procedure changes
  • Support internal controls definition
  • Assist with external audit processes
  • Interact with Head of Group General Accounting
  • Work with CFO
  • Coordinate with Tax department
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance
  • Engage with Local HR
  • Interface with Legal, Commercial, Industrial, and Development departments
  • Communicate with external auditors
  • Work with IT Advisors
  • Coordinate with Payroll BPO
  • Interact with statutory auditors
  • Engage with tax authorities

Work Experience

Education

  • Vocational certificationOR
  • Bachelor's degree
