Requirements

  • Strong technical background in IT hosting environments (cloud and on-prem), virtualization and storage technologies, Linux/UNIX systems, base infrastructure services (DNS, Mail), monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana, Zabbix), and basic networking (Ethernet, IP, Routing, Firewalling)
  • Ability to automate infrastructure and daily tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or Salt, and scripting or programming languages like Python
  • Clear communication, self-motivation, ability to work independently, eagerness to share knowledge, contribute ideas, and continuous skill development

Tasks

  • Ensure maximum service availability and performance for the DE-CIX Service Connect Platform
  • Support the continuous development of the services platform
  • Collaborate with product development and technical platform engineering teams
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot IT services
  • Conduct fault analysis and service design/development for on-prem and cloud solutions
  • Contribute to platform automation
  • Develop a solid understanding of DE-CIX products and processes
  • Apply your experience to tackle a range of challenges
