Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in a related technical field
  • More than 3 years of work experience in similar technical position
  • PLC programming background in Siemens controllers
  • Experience with HMI / SCADA systems (Siemens)
  • Understanding of multiple computer programming languages (Python, JavaScript, VBA, C#)
  • Experience with databases and different types of data storage
  • Excellent understanding of IoT, security, communication protocols (MQTT, OPC, Profinet)
  • Familiarity with Ignition SCADA software is a plus
  • Robot programming background (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka) is a plus
  • Knowledge of industrial IoT sensor connectivity (IO-Link), data acquisition and data historian software
  • Knowledge of different project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office Tools
  • Advanced knowledge in OT systems
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to persuade / influence stakeholders to drive optimization and standards

Tasks

  • Support the Digitalization strategy in the Seating Europe Group
  • Develop and implement digitalization initiatives in Seating Europe divisions
  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes
  • Create IoT applications for on-premises and cloud environments
  • Establish technical guidelines, standards, and templates for scalable digitalization projects
  • Assist in creating an OT architecture for Seating divisions
  • Interface with the Group office to implement digitalization projects
  • Provide and receive training for divisional teams on digitalization
  • Develop KPIs, metrics, and monitoring tools for I4.0 production environments
  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions, including materials and resources
  • Develop techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructure
