Requirements
- 3+ years experience in inventory management, material planning, supply chain analytics, or related field

- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP, planning parameters, inventory optimization logic, and capacity planning fundamentals
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Strong analytical capabilities with Excel/Power BI proficiency; SQL or other analytics tools knowledge is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of advanced planning systems (SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, Siemens Team Center, wayRTS or similar) highly beneficial
- Proven track record of improving inventory performance, reducing excess stock, or strengthening planning discipline
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English; German language skills beneficial
- Willingness to travel on a need-basis to Bahlingen site
Tasks
- Support inventory and operations planning processes
- Maintain planning parameters, inventory segmentation, safety stock levels, and ERP/MRP master data
- Prepare inputs for monthly IOP reviews
- Interpret inventory drivers, aged stock risks, and demand/supply variances
- Monitor inventory and supply-related KPIs
- Analyze demand trends and supply constraints
- Assess capacity impacts for feasible short- and mid-term plans
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance
- Contribute to corrective actions for inventory issues
- Support data gathering and root cause identification
- Track follow-up actions for inventory issues
- Create dashboards, reports, and planning tools
- Improve transparency and decision-making
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Enhance planning efficiency, data quality, and inventory health
