Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or comparable field
- Minimum 10 years total work experience, including at least 5 years in planning or inventory improvement initiatives in complex, international environments
- Strong expertise in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management
- Solid knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
- Proven ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable process improvements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Advanced data-driven decision-making skills
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and decision support
- Experience in cross-functional, global organizations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Lean certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred
Tasks
- Optimize global inventory levels
- Achieve target Days on Hand and service levels
- Enhance transparency of inventory health
- Coordinate cross-functional teams
- Coach teams to reduce unhealthy inventory
- Identify root causes of inventory inefficiencies
- Implement sustainable improvements
- Lead initiatives to reduce inventory loss
- Guide teams in resolving inventory loss drivers
- Partner with Master Planning, Regional Planning, and Repair Planning
- Optimize stock levels and network positioning
- Collaborate with Risk Management, CMSO, and Business Units
- Integrate resiliency measures
- Balance cost, cash, and service trade-offs
- Design governance frameworks for inventory optimization
- Implement loss reduction and transparency measures
- Support the Global Head of Inventory and Supply Chain Planning
- Strengthen governance structures
- Enhance decision-making frameworks
- Ensure integration of inventory policies
- Drive continuous improvement of inventory management
- Increase visibility, alignment, and execution consistency
