Internship Testing(m/w/x)
Analyzing thermal effects and gas inflow interactions in vacuum environments for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Experimental investigation and measurement of pressure/temperature distributions required. Support with measurement system setup and calibration.
Requirements
- Ongoing studies in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or comparable field
- Strong interest in thermal systems, fluid mechanics, or vacuum technology
- Independent and well-structured working style
- Initial experience with experimental work is advantageous
- Basic skills in measurement data analysis (e.g. MATLAB, Python, or similar) are desirable
- Technical understanding of sensors, experimental setups, or electronic components is beneficial, as well as solid understanding of physical principles
Tasks
- Analyze thermal effects in vacuum environments
- Conduct experimental investigations of pressure and temperature
- Measure pressure and temperature distributions
- Study gas inflow interactions with temperature fields
- Support measurement system setup and calibration
- Assist with data acquisition and analysis
- Contribute to optical measurement techniques (e.g., BOS)
