Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with data analysis tools and libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Interest in financial markets, trading, and investment strategies
  • Ability to deliver under pressure
  • Excellent analytical skills in fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative problem-solver
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English

Tasks

  • Immerse in fast-paced equity trading
  • Collaborate with interns, traders, and financial engineers
  • Gain hands-on market making experience
  • Trade equities, ETFs, and ETPs on EIX
  • Create reports and firmwide market updates
  • Participate in committees, providing insights
  • Analyze market data using programming skills
  • Automate data processing and enhance visualization
  • Support trading system development and optimization
  • Design, backtest, and implement trading algorithms
  • Adapt trading strategies to changing market conditions
  • Apply risk management practices
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Work closely with data teams and developers

Education

  • Currently in higher education
