Developing improved VTP structures with CFRP design and advanced sizing methodologies at an aerospace component manufacturer. Enrolled in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with basic structural calculations competency required; FEM experience beneficial. 35-hour week, flexitime.

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
  • Basic structural calculations and light structures competencies
  • Experience in FEM (beneficial)
  • Autonomy, teamwork, and good communication skills
  • Fluent English and German (plus)
  • Submission of cover letter, CV, transcripts, and enrollment certificate
  • Experience level as a student

Tasks

  • Develop improved VTP structures
  • Apply state-of-the-art CFRP design methodologies
  • Utilize advanced sizing methodologies
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing site
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle
  • Support the idealization and design phases
  • Oversee in-service product deployment
  • Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives

Education

  • Currently in higher education

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
  • German – Basic
