You will drive innovation by evaluating and fine-tuning vision language models, transforming complex AI research into functional prototypes that optimize vehicle development processes.

Requirements

• •Studies in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field
• •Solid understanding of machine learning, generative AI, and frameworks
• •Experience with large language models and transformer architectures
• •Proficiency in Python and GitHub; vLLM experience advantageous
• •Knowledge of LLM training on GPU clusters advantageous
• •Effective communication skills in English; German advantageous

Tasks

• •Explore and evaluate vision language models
• •Fine-tune models for industrial applications
• •Set up benchmark problems
• •Develop quantitative metrics for model comparison
• •Evaluate post-training methods including reinforcement learning
• •Present findings through internal reports
• •Support the creation of scientific publications
• •Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
• •Build prototype applications to showcase models
