Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in chemical, process, or mechanical engineering
  • •Focus on CFD modelling
  • •Experience with porous media, fluid mechanics, and/or thermal modelling
  • •Experience with CFD modelling
  • •Experience with ANSYS SpaceClaim, Fluent/CFX, Workbench, and similar tools
  • •Proactivity, innovation, and collaboration
  • •Ability to work across disciplines
  • •Willingness to take risks and try new things

Education

Master's degree
OR
Currently in higher education

Tasks

  • •Develop next-generation Direct Air Capture technology
  • •Run models and collect data
  • •Analyze results to optimize carbon capture processes
  • •Perform CFD analysis to predict fluid and heat flows
  • •Model small-scale filter structures and large-scale atmospheric dispersion
  • •Support Mechanical Design colleagues in vessel and structural element design
  • •Collaborate with Testing and Process Development teams
  • •Evaluate technology solutions for efficiency and performance
  • •Focus on the behavior of air, steam, and heat
  • •Communicate findings and observations clearly to peers
  • •Present results in technical reviews
