Requirements

  • Enrolled full-time student in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering with IT/software focus, or equivalent
  • First practical experience in LLMs, NLP, or general AI development (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Familiarity with Graph Databases (neo4j) or speech processing (STT/TTS) (plus)
  • Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity

Tasks

  • Analyze GraphRAG architecture for latency bottlenecks
  • Focus on efficiency and frequency of local LLM calls
  • Research state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques
  • Explore model selection, quantization, and prompt chaining
  • Design performance-enhanced LLM pipeline
  • Implement pipeline to reduce real-time inference time
  • Develop automated testing pipelines
  • Conduct comprehensive latency studies
  • Benchmark new concept against legacy workflow
  • Optionally, conduct usability studies
  • Ensure improved response times meet practical needs
