Requirements
- •Currently enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student in optics, optoelectronics, physics, information and communications, computer science, or mathematics
- •Strong theoretical knowledge in geometrical, diffractive and/or physical optics
- •Hands-on experience in optics preferred
- •Experience with optical design and simulation software like Zemax, LightTools, CodeV, Comsol, FDTD, GSolver
- •Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB considered a plus
- •Strong willingness to explore innovative technologies
- •Ability to independently search literature and patents in optical area
- •Fluency in English (written and oral)
- •Openness to cooperation and teamwork with multiple cultural backgrounds

- •Analyze literature and produce analysis reports
- •Conduct industry progress and trend analysis
- •Identify high-value technologies for business scope
- •Create technical insight reports
- •Design optical systems based on project requirements
- •Work on free space optics like displays and imaging lenses
- •Develop flat optics such as meta-lenses and holographic elements
- •Assist in formulating device specifications
- •Support the manufacturing process
- •Help build experiment setups or prototypes
- •Collect, organize, and analyze data
